Piarom date belongs to semi-dry varieties and it’s really unique in the taste. These dates also known as “chocoslate dates” because of the high quality, taste and great shape.
Piarom date is considered one of the most luxurious and most expensive variety of Iranian dates, which is cultivated only in Iran.
Piarom date origin
Piarom dates are cultivated in the “Haji Abad” city, which is located in Hormozgan province. Piarom date needs special climate and a lot of water and the most appropriate city in Iran for these conditions is “Haji Abad”.
Piarom date features
Piarom date is semi-dried with 15-18% moisture, which is lower than other types of dates. This date is large and its length between 3\5-5 cm. Colour of this type is dark brown to black.
It has thin skin and sweet taste, most of the sweetness comes from the organic fructose substance immersed in the meat, and it’s a natural and healthy substitute for processed sugar and an advised medication for diabetes cases.
