Rabbi date Origin

 

Like the other Iranian dates, Rabbi dates are harvested in southern of Iran. Southern of Iran is Iranian dates source, mostly 100 % of Iranian dates are cultivated in south of Iran. Best variety of Rabbi date is harvested in Iranshahr, Zabol and Chabahar cities, which are located in Sistan o Balochestan province.

 

 


Rabbi date Features

 

Rabbi dates has thin skin, long and oval shape. Its flesh and skin are stuck together, which is show its high quality. Rabbi date due to the low humidity doesn’t need to be kept in refrigerator. This date belongs to the category of semi dried fruits.

Depending on its harvesting time, its color varies from reddish to black. Rabbi dates and Kabkab dates are harvested in September. This date is full of Potassium and minerals like, magnesium, calcium and selenium.
